GAME 37 CANTERBURY RED DEVILS VS DUNEDIN THUNDER

The Red Devils taking it to Thunder at home with a
score of 9-1. The Red Devils were first to
score with Hayden Argyle scoring in the second
minute of the first period, assisted by Daniel Nicholls.
The rest of the first period was end to end with
the puck going back and forward with no further
goals for 15 minutes until Matthew Weir scored for
the Thunder assisted by Quentin Pepy and Paris
Heyd, taking the score at the end of the first to
1-1.
The second period started with the Red Devils once
again scoring within the first 3 minutes.
This time it was Anton Purver who scored assisted
by both Mitchell Oak and Jake Krumm. It was
Chris Eaden who scored Canterburys next goal, he
was assisted by Nicholas DOnofrio in the 10th
minute of the period. A few penalties on both sides
with both teams taking 8 minutes.
Canterbury seemed to pick up steam in the third
period scoring a massive 6 times. First to
score was Nick, assisted by Stefan Speck, once
again this goal came within the first 3 minutes of the
period. Chris was next to score putting one past
the goalie with an assist from Mike Everding. Goal 6
was scored by number 6 Dale Harrop this was
assisted by Hayden and Mitchell. Jake got the next
goal assisted by Mitchell and Nick- this goal came
in the 9th minute of the period. Next to score for
the Red Devils was Anton with the assists from two
of the Americans Jake and Nick. The last goal for
the game was again scored by the Red Devils, with
Hayen getting his third point of the game, this
goal was assisted by Mitchell.
The final score at the end of the third was
Canterbury Red Devils 9 Dunedin Thunder 1.
There was 12 minutes of penalties for the Red
Devils and 26 minutes for Thunder. Canterbury had
40 shots on goal against Dunedins 15.
The three stars for the game were Rob Mah, Nick and
Mitchell with 4 points a piece.
