The Swarm dominated the first period of the game with twice the
shots on goal of the Canterbury side, resulting in one goal scored
mid-period by Alexandr Polozov, assisted by Lukas Birgel.
Canterbury stepped up their defense in the second period and the
Swarm equalled their strength. Despite the highest number of shots
on goal for both teams during the second no goals were scored.�
Victory was sealed for the Swarm in the third with three goals
the first scored by Sam Boniface, followed three minutes later by
Ian Wannamaker on the power play, and finally with seven minutes on
the clock Polozov tapped the puck into the net, assisted by Corey
Down.
The Swarm took the game 4:0.� Zac Nothling the Swarm Goalkeeper
saved all 24 shots on goal by the Red Devils.
